Germany’s Got it Right!

So what happens if you spend a couple of weeks eating bratwurst and sauerkraut as the main meal of the day?

Sorry about the missing piece of sausage – what can I say? I was hungry!

These sausages are over 90% meat, giving a very high ratio of protein and fat to any potential hint of carbohydrate. And a couple of those with sauerkraut keeps you feeling full for quite a while – and is also over 500 calories. I can see some dieticians passing out at the back…

So, here is what I weighed in at on August 31st, 2012:

Weight: 234lbs
Waist: 46 inches
Hips: 46.5 inches
BMI: 32.04
Est bodyfat: 29.5%

And here’s my stats from September 28th:

Weight: 227lbs (down 7lbs)
Waist: 41 inches (down 5 inches)

Hips: 43 inches (down 3.5 inches)
BMI: 31.2 (down 0.84)
Est bodyfat: 24.4% (down 5.1%)

And here’s my stats from October 26th:

Weight: 223lbs (down 4lbs)
Waist: 39 inches (down 2 inches)
Hips: 41 inches (down 2 inches)
BMI: 30.5 (down 0.7)
Est bodyfat: 22.3% (down 2.1%)

See? Still losing size, fat and weight! And all this with lots of fat, butter, sausages and so on. Based on the last 30 years of eat-low-fat-to-get-thin propaganda, who’d-a thunk it?

Must dash – got some bacon that needs eating. Catch you later!
